Some Makeup Exploration

Ideas on how Debra's face could get messed up. The middle on is based on one of Lauren's drawings from earlier.

  1. Hi Melanie,
Ive been really enjoying all the work you've contributed to the team so far.
The cat hair idea is super fun and got me laughing! Because I'm not there in the thick of it like you guys, idk if it'll stand the wrath of bunny and Courtney, but personaly, I'd like to see something kooky in there like that, even if its an option debra flips thru like on a preset make up system.
The middle idea of make up being messed up I feel would match the BGs and overall design nicely. Keep up the great work!

    1. Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you thought the cats were funny too. Luckily, if the group decides to use any of these designs, they'll only show up on screen for a split second.

  2. Love the hair and makeup explorations!! And I also love that you uploaded a gif to show movement! Firing it up! However, it's my opinion that Debra's face should not glitch, off screen, because she's not supposed to be digital, just the makeup. If this is meant for on screen, it would give the impression that the program is messed up, not that a little girl pushed a wrong button or moved her stylus wrong. Maybe if it just happens really quick, like a frame or two, when Jessica is messing around in the room by herself and REALLY messing with the program, that could work. Finally, I like the right one best because it feels digital where as the middle one might not be as clear. Keep it up!!

    1. I had thought that Keith had said the mask was actually a screen in our meeting on Saturday, but I could be mistaken. I threw the second two glitch faces because I remember Courtney said he liked the idea of her face becoming abstract the other week when he saw Lauren's drawing. That being said, I definitely will do more ideas of how her makeup can get smeared. Thanks for the feedback!
